Theoretical calculation of optical and magnetic properties in
Transition Metal complexes. Dependence on metal-ligand
distances. Extended-Hückel and MS-Xa programs.
2) Single crystal synthesis and characterization of doped
materials with transition metal complexes: Cu2+, Mn2+, ...
Resolve and checking of crystal structure through X-ray
diffraction.
3) Optical, magnetic and structural properties of insulating
materials. Temperature (10-600 K).
4) Study of the local structure of Jahn-Teller complexes using
EPR techniques and polarized charge transfer spectra.
5) Optical spectroscopy at high pressure with DAC (1-100 kbar).
